Northbridge 24 Hour Challenge Goes Gangnam

Northbridge International School will be holding its annual 24-Hour Challenge on Mar. 7. Over the last three years the 24-Hour Run has raised thousands of dollars for various charities while encouraging a healthy and happy lifestyle for students. It brings the school community together in collaborative endeavour attempting to make a difference.

This years event is also opened up to the wider community to get sponsored to run/walk/crawl/gangnamstyle around the school track for a defined distance, time or simply as much as you can over the course. The event is a combination of running, walking, biking, art and reading. As well the running, there will a 24-hour arts instillation, a readathon and ‘live lounge’ for those who wish to express their creative side.

It is also a great opportunity for team building and fundraising for your specific cause. Food and drinks will be sold at the event. Proceeds will be going to All Ears Cambodia a charity chosen by a committee of students and parents.

Students, staff and family members of the NISC community will be running in a relay for the whole of the 24 hours, from 8.15am on Mar. 7 to 8.15am on Mar. 8. The track will be open for the wider Phnom Penh community from noon to midnight on Mar. 7 and costs $10 per person to enter, with a maximum of 10 people per team.

For further information, email: rachael_felsing@nisc.edu.kh. To register visit: http://niscevents.weebly.com/24-hr-challenge.html

The event is open to anyone so grab you running shoes and you best running mate and join in the fun.
