Artist Dina Chhan to head series of Workshops
Budding artists can brush up on their skills as Cambodian painter Dina Chhan launches a series of workshops.
Phnom Penh Community Centre is hosting a series of four evening classes led by the popular artist. Each of the four classes will explore a different topic – mosaic, collage, 3D acrylic painting and still life oil pastel drawing.
Chhan works in a range of media including painting and sculpting. Her inspiration during her 10 years as an artist is life, music and everyday activities. Her love of art has also led to her sharing her passion with children teaching art at various orphanages and International School of Phnom Penh. She has also had her work exhibited in Cambodia, France, Columbia, Singapore and USA.
The four, two-hour Wednesday evening workshops are the start of a series of evening programmes put on by the college, which hosts weekly weekend workshops.
The first session on mosaics takes place in Nov. 6, the collage session on Nov. 13, the 3D acrylic painting workshop on Nov. 20 and the still life oil pastel drawing workshop takes place on Nov. 27. All sessions run from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Phnom Penh Community Centre, on the corner of Street 6 and 294.
The cost for four workshops is $100, including materials. To book a place, email your contact details to firstname.lastname@example.org
