Cambodia International Film Festival 2015

For its 6th edition, Cambodia’s Premier film event will propose over 80 films and over 200 screenings.
The international program of Cambodia’s premier film event is rich and diversified as always.
In addition to showcasing the best films produced in and about Cambodia, CIFF will offer this year special focuses on Japanese, Malaysia, French films, it will also include Asian Cinerama a selection of films awarded by the prestigious Asian Film Awards and rare Czech animation films, as well as world documentaries completed by a broad selection of short films.
CIFF will also include the National Film Competition with a selection of 8 Cambodian films competing for Awards which will be handed by the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts during the closing ceremony.
CIFF will offer special screening of films for younger audience with a wide variety of classic and contemporary quality animation films.
The CIFF screenings will take place in all major theaters in Phnom Penh (Major and Cineplex, all three Legend Cinemas, Chaktomuk Theater, and the renewed theater of the French Institute, as well as the Bophana Center) during 7 days, including special guests and filmmakers sharing with the audience.
CIFF is Cambodia’s annual film celebration is hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and has been organized by the Cambodia Film Commission and the Bophana Center in partnership with the French Institute.
This year CIFF will charge a 1 USD ticket fee and offer advance purchase of 10 tickets for 5 USD.
