Eat Local, Eat Well: A Culinary Experience in Kep

A culinary feast is being cooked up in one of Kep’s most stylish destinations.

Chefs Amy Baard from Farm to Table and Jay Scaife from Knai Bang Chatt join hands to offer a culinary getaway in Kep next weekend.

Activities include a tour of Kep’s best agriculture initiatives, an incredible degustation dinner made from 100 percent local products and fruits and vegetables from Knai Bang Chatt’s new permaculture garden, and a stay in one of the most iconic hotels on the Cambodian coast.

Farm to Table and Knai Bang Chatt have been working together in the past few months to reduce the hotel’s ecological footprint by developing a permaculture garden, relying on local products and a short-circuit food network, and increasing the use of composting.

Next weekend’s event falls into this context and will offer to its guests a surprising and inspiring experience.

On June 2, guests will be taken on a farm tour through Kampot and Kep, including a visit to Kampot Seafoods Crab Processing facility, Kampot Farm & Food Co. organic plantation and Knai Bang Chatt’s permaculture gardens.

There will then be the chance to swim and rest at Knai Bang Chatt, followed by sunset cocktails, before the four-hands degustation dinner with wine pairing. An overnight stay at Knai Bang Chatt is included.

June 3 involves the chance to enjoy a farm-to-cup coffee experience and breakfast at the seaside.

From $90 per person for dinner only, or $140 for the weekend.
