Greek Night at the Village
The Village offers a uniquely Greek experience, May 24 at 7pm. A feast fit for the gods and goddesses featuring roast lamb, mixed mezze, baklava and ouzo, is on offer. Klezmer is music provided by Klezbodians playing eastern European and Greek classics, there’s also a belly dancing display by Jesmine Sok. Turn up in a toga and you could win a prize.
On arrival you are offered trio dip (hummus, babaganoush and tzatziki with pita bread) and a mezze platter (including pickled octopus, salami, marinated peppers, mushrooms and artichoke hearts). This is followed by oven-baked lamb with lemon oil, oregano and potatoes served with Greek salad. This is finished with baklava (almonds and walnuts in filo pastry with rosewater syrup) and galaktoboureko (semolina custard in filo pastry covered with syrup).
Tickets ($20 on the door or $18) are available from The Village. For more information Tel: +855 (0)16 611 003.
