JavaArts Residency Programme extended

JavaArts has extended the deadline for its Curator Residency Programme to May 20.

The JavaArts Residency programme is a platform to cultivate creative processes and knowledge exchange in visual arts. Part 2 focuses on curators, with an emphasis on innovative practice.

Residency 2 is a three-month residency leading to an exhibition at Java Café & Gallery in September 2013. The residency is open to all individuals from the field of visual arts and encourages Cambodians to apply. The resident curator is placed in a shared work environment where he/she will be engaged in daily operations, gain first-hand experience, and be supported to develop their curatorial vision.

The application process starts with a simple letter of inquiry. The applications will be reviewed by a selection committee who are responsible for the final selection.
