Sofitel Phnom Penh launches new Japanese menu
Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra has some tasty news as it unveils a new menu at its exclusive HACHI Japanese restaurant. The hotel’s experienced chef Mido has spent the last two decades travelling through Asia to treat his guests to the finest Japanese cuisine and now he has drawn up a new menu packed with traditional and sophisticated food.
As well as continuing to prepare favourites such as selections of sashimi and sushi, with an additional menu including Kobe beef, black pork steak, grilled yellowtail, bento boxes, tempura and robatayaki (traditional Japanese barbecue), the menu now includes new dishes such as salmon head cream soup and fried shrimps with almonds. HACHI also offers an extensive selection of sake, with a different taste to accompany each dish.
HACHI has a relaxing and zen environment inside one of the capital’s most luxurious hotels. The décor is inspired by feng shui and Japanese traditions to recreate a unique feeling with simple designs, rice paper screens, chinaware and tatamis.
