Vietjet Airlines Whiz In Style Into Phnom Penh

New-age airliner, Vietjet Air, celebrates another major milestone offering direct flight services between Ho Chi Minh City and Phnom Penh from December 2017.

Since connecting Hanoi and Siem Reap by daily direct flights, Vietjet has been applauded for the extra convenience it provides to travellers shuttling between the countries of Vietnam and Cambodia.

With the number of business travellers and holidaymakers constantly growing between the countries, the decision to include the cultural tourist hub of Cambodia to the airline’s already extensive network was seen as a great service to the scores of travellers relying on the few options available then.

This recent addition, linking the major hubs of Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh City, marks yet another significant milestone for the recently-listed airline company. The flight between the two cities takes approximately 45 minutes each way, reducing an otherwise long travelling time which people are usually required to spend by road.

The flights are scheduled to leave from Ho Chi Minh City daily at 5.35pm local time and arrive in Phnom Penh at 6.20pm local time. From Phnom Penh, a daily flight departs at 7.30pm to arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 8.15pm.

The capital of Phnom Penh is an important political, cultural and trade centre of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The city attracts a great number of visitors daily, of which Vietnamese nationals recorded one of the highest in number. Besides, Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh City are amongst the most popular cities of the region. This new route linking these two magnificent destinations will certainly be cheered as a welcome move and a popular one.

Ho Chi Minh City is popular not only for its wonderful tourist destinations, but also for trade and commerce. It is literally a city that does not sleep; every street is peppered by commerce in every trade imaginable, and there is never a lack of places to eat around the clock as well. The convenience of air transportation between these cities is a blessing to the many whose business and livelihood are circled around the two capitals.

Since its incorporation, Vietjet Airways have been constantly breaking its own benchmarks, much to the delight of its management and stakeholders, especially shareholders and investors. The airline strives to offer affordable travel services praised for convenience with comfort and security.

A Low Cost Carrier (LLC) it may be, Vietjet Airways offers inflight conveniences and ground services that are similar, if not better, than some premium airlines. Its quality services include diverse ticket classes at low cost, a courteous crew, comfortable seats and delicious hot meals, plus the much talked about Skyboss Lounge where passengers can be pampered while awaiting for their flight.

Currently, the airline boasts a fleet of 45 aircraft, including A320s and A321s, and operates 350 flights each day. It has already 73 routes in operation in Vietnam and across the region to international destinations such as Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar and Cambodia.
