Bangkok Prep announces Baht 3 million A-level Scholarships

Bangkok International Preparatory and Secondary School has announce an A level scholarship scheme for students with outstanding achievement for entry to Year 12 in August 2015.

The program of study at Bangkok Prep is based on the National Curriculum of England, offering education from Nursery to Year 13. The school offers a IGCSE program to Year 10 and 11 students as a precursor to the Cambridge-approved A levels available for study in Years 12 and 13, thereby preparing students for admission to leading universities throughout the world.

The scholarship is open to students of all nationalities aged 16 years with outstanding achievement in academic studies, sports and music. A total of three scholarships will be awarded, with a total combined value of up to over three million Baht over two years.

In addition to meeting the above requirements, students must possess skills and abilities to contribute positively to the school community.

Applicants are required to complete an application form along with a 300-word essay and submit current school reports, letters of recommendation, certificates of achievements and other relevant documents.

Only short-listed students will be contacted to take part for online testing, written assignments and interview. The successful candidate must remain enrolled for the full two years, until Year 13. For scholarships or partial scholarships with one year tenure, the renewal will be dependent upon on-going successful academic achievement.

The deadline for application is 30 January 2015 with the successful scholarship placements being announced on 16 March 2015.
