British Vietnamese International School Hanoi
The BIS Group of Schools has created a new educational model which is reproducing the same high quality international education standard as the well-established BIS. However, fully integrated within the curriculum is the deliberate nurturing and safeguarding of the Vietnamese language, culture and heritage. BVIS Hanoi is a state of the art, purpose-built school which opened in August 2013 in Thanh Xuan, Hanoi.
The campus features first-class facilities to support a vibrant curriculum which blends the best of the British and Vietnamese national curriculum. Students reach high literacy levels in both English and Vietnamese by the end of primary school, before gradually increasing exposure to English. Secondary school courses lead to Cambridge International IGCSE and A Level examinations, enabling confident, accomplished students to apply for entry to international universities. The mission of BVIS is to ensure that all students become responsible citizens, aware of global issues, possessing a wider world vision, with a Vietnamese perspective.
