Romulus on The Rock at Goethe Institute

Romulus on The Rock will be performed in Thai with English subtitles at the Goethe Institute from Jun. 3 to 7.

An adaptation Friedrich Dürrenmatt’s play Romulus The Great, the original play is well-known for it’s Grotesque characteristics. Romulus is about mankind’s obsession with war and excessive pride of your own kin – to the extent of losing all qualities that make us human such as love and kindness. The story depicts a great Roman emperor who will do everything in his power to do nothing.

Romulus on The Rock is directed by Tan Chandruang and co-directed by Chertsak Pratumseesakhon. Thai Translation by Aumpha Otrakul
