Universal Children's Day raises money for Operation SmileThe 16th of November 2013 saw the running of the very first Universal Children’s Day, family fun fair in Bangkok- the 20th of November being the official Universal Children s Day day.

The event was organized and run by St Andrews International Schools and The British Club of Bangkok.

The event which is hoped to be the first of an annual event, attracted many generous sponsors who deserve to be recognized for their generous  contribution  – Burger King, PeopleServe Asia, Bangkok Hospital, Standard Chartered Bank, Tesco Lotus, Food By Phone, Santa Fe, Thai Property Guide, DHL, Spice Roads Cycle Tours, Kingdom Property.

Events and performances were proudly supported throughout the whole day by the CAS students of St Andrews 107 campus, Right to Play organization and Superstar Academy of Bangkok. The full day event was jam packed with activities and performances – nail painting, dunking games, strong man, canon ball among many others…..

In all, the days events managed to raise a total of 342,740.00 baht ! All profits have gone  to the Operation Smile organization of Thailand. Operation Smile Thailand will use these funds to assist children with cleft palate deformities have life changing operations that they ordinarily would not be able to afford- changing lives one smile at a time !
