13-year-old Vietnamese prodigy named chief editor of international teen magazine

As summer holiday draws to a close, 13-year-old Do Nhat Nam has been busier than most. In addition to promoting his new book My Parents Have Won My Heart, the child prodigy announced that he will begin not only a new school year in the fall but also a new job as chief editor of Creative Melange, an international magazine for teenagers. Beyond his published works, both in Vietnamese and English, Nam is also known as the country’s youngest translator, having translated books by author Jacqui Bailey and illustrator Matthew Lilly at the age of seven.
