Celebrate the uniquely Thai tradition of Loi Krathong
Celebrate the uniquely Thai tradition of Loi Krathong by floating your small candle-lit kratong on the Saigon River with us, the Thai community. We welcome all nationalities interested in a truly Thai experience.
The festival, held on the full moon night of the twelfth lunar month, expresses Thai’s gratitude to the goddess of water ‘Phra Mae Kongka’ for having extensively used, and sometimes polluted, the water from the rivers and canals. It is also in part a thanksgiving for her bounty in providing water for the livelihood of the people. The gala evening includes sit-down Thai dinner, live music, krathong floating, a beauty pageant and more.
But hurry; this event will sell out fast and seats are limited.
