Aside from serving as a “dress rehearsal” for the new season in the club’s own stadium, the Audi Cup offers Bayern’s new coach Pep Guardiola the opportunity to achieve the first international title with his new club.

In the English Champion of the 2011/2012 season Manchester City, the seven-time European Cup winner AC Milan and the three-time World Cup winner São Paulo the competition on the way to winning the trophy that has been specifically designed by Audi is extremely strong.

The playing mode of the Audi Cup promises to deliver superb soccer entertainment. On July 31, two semi-final meetings will take place. The two losing teams will then play for third place on August 1 before the two winners meet in the finale. This means that the spectators will be experiencing all four top clubs on both days. The kick-off times are scheduled for 18:15 and 20:30, respectively (German time).
