A Vietnamese man currently serving a five-year prison term for human trafficking proposed to his female accomplice in court on Tuesday. Tran Dien Thuong, 38, got down on one knee and offered his betrothed a sculpture, featuring two swans and a pair of hearts, which he made from two bars of soap while incarcerated. The woman, 22-year-old Lo Thi Phuong Xa, was also sentenced to five years in prison and was not permitted to bring her engagement gift to jail.
