The newly-accredited United States Ambassador to Vietnam, Ted Osius, officially began his tenure on December 16.

The US Ambassador said President Barack Obama highly valued America’s relationship with Vietnam, and he thanked Vietnam for supporting the Fulbright program and suggested that the country continue supporting English-teaching activities here. Osius arrived in Vietnam with his mother, partner Clayton and their infant son Tabo.
