Norfolk Group receives prestigious award from President of Vietnam
On 9 July, the Norfolk Development Group, Ltd (VN) was awarded with the president’s Third-class Labour Medal in conjunction with the company’s 15th anniversary. Taking in to account the company’s achievements, the Norfolk Development Group Vietnam and its chairman — Mr Thanh Hoang Nguyen — were awarded the medal by the president of Vietnam, along with the traditional flag and a badge granted by the chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee. The event was held at the Norfolk Mansion, with representatives from the Vietnamese government, Australian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, and partners and friends of the Norfolk Group in attendance.
The Norfolk Development Group has operated and invested in the Vietnamese market since 1991 and, as a 100 percent foreign-invested company, has been contributing to the social and economic development through their investment arms in Vietnam ever since. From the early days of operation, Norfolk has provided construction consultancy and management services for real estate projects in Ho Chi Minh City, such as the Norfolk Hotel, Norfolk Mansion, TMS, PDD, SDI and Tan Da Court. The company also provides employment for over 400 staff.
