Pageant in Moc Chau crowns Miss Milk Cow

One extraordinary cow – out of 126 competing cows – was crowned the winner of Vietnam’s annual Miss Milk Cow pageant last Friday. The cow, four years old and weighing 1,830 pounds, was crowned after impressing judges with a remarkably plentiful milk yield that doubled the average cow. Other advantageous criteria for the pageant included  long legs and solid torsos. The unusual pageant in honour of Vietnam’s local bovines took place in Moc Chau, a region of central Vietnam known for its dairy pasture.
