Saigon Vegan Festival – a fun filled family day out!

Saigon’s Vegan Festival, scheduled for the weekend of 6 & 7 January, promises to be bigger and better than last year’s and a great day out for all. Among the first of its kind, the festival brings a freshness to Vietnam’s vegan community

Last year’s festival, the first of the annual event, attracted over 300 people during the weekend. This year’s festival will host a series of community-oriented and cruelty-free activities over two fun filled days, as well as introduce a variety of food, drink and products for a healthy vegan lifestyle.

With film screenings, talk shows, training workshops, yoga classes and family-friendly activities, the festival aims to improve the entire clean and healthy vegan food value proposition through a holistic, multi-level approach, appealing to those who adopt veganism for a wide variety of reasons.

Highlights include Ms Vegan & Mr Plant Power contest and Vegan Dating.

Of course, you can’t have a vegan festival without plenty of veggielicious food on offer, balancing traditional Vietnamese vegetarian and vegan cuisine with international influences from some of the better know veggie and vegan restaurants around town.

As well as their annual event, Saigon Vegan Festival hosts monthly meetings and retreats to inspire people to live a happier, healthier lifestyle.
