The German International School (GIS) Open Day 24 May from 8.30 onwards at its campus in District 2.
The Open Day will provide parents who are interested in international education with the opportunity to visit and explore the pleasant and green campus of GIS in Thao Dien. The school is situated in a truly inspiring location with the concept of blending in with the natural environment and the creation of an “Educational Village”, with different buildings for different functions.
Visitors to the Open Day will be able to meet the Principal and teachers, and learn more about the school’s curriculum, facilities and benefits of the academic and social offering for students between 2 – 18 years old.
The German International School (GIS) was founded in 2009 and welcomes students from all nationalities. The mission of the school is to educate global citizens, who enjoy learning, inquiring and caring for others around them. Students are immersed in a multicultural learning environment with a curriculum that helps to create practical thinkers as well as problem solvers who are aware of differing points of view, and the benefits these differences offer.
The curriculum is based on the internationally recognised Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) of the International Baccalaureate (IB) system.
A team of highly qualified teachers ensures that our students can develop to their full potential and are provided with an educational approach that is based on individual needs and requirements.
GIS offers classes from Toddler to Grade 10 for the school year 2013/14, starting on 12th August 2013.
