The Loop opens in D2
The Loop, a new contemporary styled restaurant opened in May on the corner of Thao Dien/ Le Van Minh – to serve the An Phu Community some healthy trattoria-style dishes and great refreshing drinks from 7 am to the evening. The Loop serves truly Italian Coffee from Hausbrandt – a premium brand from Triest established some 120 years ago and sold in over 70 countries from Milano to Moscow, Monte Carlo, Vienna and New York.
Early birds can enjoy a wide selection of home-made breakfast specialities like a Granola with Seeds, Nuts and Almost served with a mix of dry and fresh fruits and home-made yoghurt. For a more savoury start the guest can enjoy Scrambled Eggs with Chorizo and a whole-wheat corny bread or with cured salmon. For a lighter breakfast we serve daily fresh baked croissant, pain-au-chocolat and other bread specialities as well as some fresh fruit dishes served with a mint crushed ice.
More hearty dishes like a breakfast burger or an vegetable Frittata are available as well.
Many ingredients are from local shops nearby and from small privately run manufacturer to enhance the community concept of the Loop. The design and concept has been developed by Rosemary Davies who has been actively involved in a number of projects such as office projects in Vincom Finance Tower and the RMIT and she used an interesting material and colour mix that is fresh, crisp and makes the guests feel very much at home.
For lunch The Loop offers a wide selection of freshly prepared salads, panini with different type of cheese such as Ghoat Cheese, a fresh Mozzarella or a saigon-made swiss cheese. On the culinary side the Loop got support from Andreas Ertle known for his work in Hyatt, Cepage and most recently Vesper. All dishes are available also for take-away and delivery.
Coffee plays a key role for The Loop, that offers their Italian Coffee beans also for retail customer. Next to that, the owner Eckart Dutz also imports fully-automated Coffee Machines from Nivona (Germany) that can prepare coffee specialities like cappuccino, latte macchiato, espresso but also tea and hot milk by a touch of a button.
The Loop is known by the sporty community as a 4 km circle in An Phu for runners & bikers that spans from Nguyen Van Huong to Thao Dien. Now there is a pitstop available to re-charge and re-fresh – but not only for the jogger and biker – for all customer seeking a 3rd place, next to home and office.
Starting from July, the Loop will offer some exciting Dinner specialities that will be served inside as well as outside in a small cosy setting.
