A beautifully designed coworking space for real startup entrepreneurs, creatives, consultants and investors to work collaboratively or privately right in the heart of District 1. They have a dynamic meeting hub with a staff to help connect all business industries between startup, and small to medium sized enterprises with domestic and global investors. They help young companies achieve high-power recruitment worldwide, and host a slew of options for investment mentoring and coaching. They’re all set for launching their exciting new DreamVentures later this year. Dream big dreams! Obama spoke with young entrepreneurs at this space when he visited Saigon.
SCW was one of the first coworking spaces in Saigon. Founded by a group of friends running two different startups, SCW was born simply to save costs on office space and to meet other young foreign entrepreneurs by sharing the same space. It boasts a spacious 24/7 coworking space that has additional business services available to its members. The space partners with a network of local professionals to help with legal, financial and IT consulting. The local kitchen and green rooftop garden are great for views and free coffee. In these later years they have been continuously seeking and testing partners capable to offer their services at a fair price, satisfying foreign standards.

Fablab is a makerspace, cafe and coworking space all under the same roof to empower the maker community. Their space is aimed at anyone interested to come to learn, share and make anything their creative hearts desire. A Fablab is a small-scale workshop offering (personal-level) digital fabrication. It is a creative and social place to empower a local community to test and innovate. As of 2013, there are over 125 Fablabs, in 34 countries. But in Vietnam, only a small one was set up in Hue, thanks to Fablab Rennes, France. Fablab Saigon is an attempt to rectify this, and they offer their space for all to explore and work together in ever-dynamic Ho Chi Minh City.

START Saigon is a coworking space dedicated to Information Technology start-ups and entrepreneurs. They offer 24/7 access to their members, so even those of us that like to get our work done into the late hours of the morning have a space to flourish. With a rooftop garden, pool, fast optical-fibre internet, and a meeting room designated for all of the official business one team can handle, there aren’t many reasons to not become a member. Cheap rates, and a killer location top off the convincing one may need, but if you’re still holding out for one more reason: they host after work parties and barbecues to help everyone let off some steam after a hard day of achieving greatness.

PepperHouse was established to provide a space to stay and work in Ho Chi Minh City for the entrepreneur or businessperson who needs comfort and convenience during short business trips or while starting up a new project or enterprise. PepperHouse, while located in one of the main business districts (District 1), it sits on the relatively sedate Hoang Sa, near the zoo, overlooking the breezy Thi Nghi canal. It’s bright, open, and the perfect place to hunker down to get some work done and network without feeling like you are in the Bat Cave.
