Vibe Nation 2018 is a multi-genre beach music festival at Coco Beachcamp. Its second edition is taking place March 16, 17, and 18, 2018.

A collective of musicians, artists, DJs, and performers, Vibe Nation brings people together for an unforgettable experience. It’s a weekend deep dive into worlds of music, creativity, and flavors all on the backdrop of Lagi’s stunning shoreline.

Unlike other festivals its size, Vibe Nation cares less about securing high-profile artists and more about creating an inclusive environment that feels like a family. Stages won’t be divided by genre, and festivalgoers will be encouraged to journey around the village to discover the soundscape. The line-up includes well-known Saigon-based artists and expands to include those from around Vietnam and throughout Southeast Asia.

What makes the Vibe Nation Festival a rich experience is from its ability to bring different genres of music together. Artists from over a dozen genres including Reggae, Dub, Funk, Trance, Afrobeat, Experimental, Hip Hop, Electro, and others, melt together to create the sound people come to know as Vibe. Festival founder Morgan Mugnier (Saigon Dub Station), inspired by the annual Fête de la Musique of his native France, set a solid foundation on which artists can administer their aural medicine.

Not just about the music, Vibe Nation is a food festival in its own right. Participants can sample food ranging from Vietnamese, Western, BBQ, Lagi’s ubiquitous seafood, vegan-friendly options, sweet treats, and of course selections from Saigon’s craft beer community. Tê Tê will feature its own village mixing craft beer, art, and creative expression.

For those coming to enjoy a relaxing beach weekend, or for overeager music lovers who wants to benefit from some stress relief, an entire wellness center is sponsored by Home Yoga Saigon. Featuring bodywork, energy healing, Tarot readings, and mindfulness courses, guests will be able to rest and rejuvenate during the day so that they can enjoy a full evening of festivities.

One of the most attractive qualities of Vibe Nation is its commitment to bringing so many different kinds of people together. This is perhaps most obviously reflected in the accommodation options. Ranging from luxury suites to charming bungalows to two-man tents, the festival houses people of all walks of life united for the cause of music.

Beyond the weekend of the festival, Vibe Nation cares about Southern Vietnam and Binh Thuan Province. By aiming to integrate foreign and Vietnamese cultures for this special three-day event, Vibe hopes to shine a positive light on the area as a holiday destination.

In addition to increasing local tourism, the aim is to respect the environment by keeping the event as eco-friendly as possible. Participants are incentivized to re-use their cups and can receive free drinks for collecting waste.

Just three hours from Saigon, participants may drive; however, most people prefer to arrive by bus. The Vibe Nation Team partners with trusted travel companies to provide shuttles between Saigon and Lagi. Those coming from other locations should check their local bus schedules.
